Ode to Surveillance Capitalism
Roses are red,
violets are blue.
In the post-modern world,
the poems read you.
Do you want ads
for fresh-fruit bouquets?
Or to have misconstrued
things your opponents say?
Twitter doesn't care
if privacy is harmed.
It's quite profitable
for your data to be farmed.
Reddit is orange,
Facebook is blue.
Your friends are the product,
and so are you.
